Fortuna Completes Migration of Polish Sportsbook onto Playtech’s IMS Platform
Fortuna Entertainment Group, Central and Eastern Europe’s biggest betting and gaming operator has just concluded the migration of its Polish Sportsbook onto Playtech’s Omni-Channel platform. This was announced today by Playtech, the number one gambling company in the world. This announcement comes after Playtech powered the launch of Fortuna’s Omni-channel platforms in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The Omni-channel partnership between Fortuna and Playtech in Central and Eastern Europe started in August 2016. They’ve now had launches in Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Poland with further integrations planned for Romania and Croatia, which is scheduled to go live towards the end of the year. For the Croatia launch, the core gaming platform will be IMS with FEG Sportsbook integrated into it.
With this new development, Poland becomes the latest country where Fortuna is now able to manage their players from one platform. This means players across all migrated countries can be viewed from a single 360-degree view. Apart from that, this also gives Fortuna access to Playtech’s player engagement centre as well as its responsible gambling tools.
Since Fortuna started its partnership with Playtech, it has grown into the number one betting and gaming operator in Central and Eastern Europe. The partnership has seen many highs with one of the highlights being the launch of their first online casino in the Czech Republic.
Speaking about the partnership between the two giants, Fortuna Entertainment Group CEO, Per Widerstrom, said: “Our strategic partnership with Playtech continues to be integral to our growth plans, as well as our successes so far. This migration will offer Polish customers a leading user experience, and more broadly it confirms our Omni-channel leadership in Central and Eastern Europe.”
Playtech’s Chief Operating Officer, Shimon Akad, added: “This is just the latest step in what continues to be an impressive growth trajectory for Fortuna, and we know there is a lot more to come. As well as highlighting the power of Playtech ONE as a solution for licenses, this is also a prime example of how Playtech can be the technology provider of choice for companies as they expand and build their offerings in new markets.”
